Axentra ServerApplianceOE™ Software Updates
The latest software version available for the Axentra Servers is 2.4. The update is for OfficeSeries or HomeSeries net-box™ Servers with version 2.0.x, 2.1.x, 2.2.x or 2.3.x, and can be downloaded and installed using the Software Update facility on your Server.

Version 2.4 of the software contains numerous enhancements and bug fixes. See the release notes for a list of the most notable enhancements.

Update File Download/Preparation Instructions:

Select the Update File in the download section below, and save the file to your client computer.
Remember the location where you save it.

Once the download has completed, you need to copy the file to your home directory on your
Axentra Server. There are several ways to do this. One is to follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your account on your Axentra Server (this must be an administrator account).
  2. Click on "File Manager".
  3. Click the "Add File" button.
  4. Click the "Browse" button and select the Update File (ends in '.upd') from where you saved it
    on your client computer.
  5. In the Upload Dialog, do not change the Upload To location. It should say something like "<your username>'s files".
  6. Click the "Upload the files" button.

Alternately, you can copy the file to the Server using Windows Networking or WebDAV. See your
Server's documentation for details.

Once the Upload File is in your home directory on your Axentra Server, click the Administer link
(upper right corner, on the line with "Sign Out").

From the menu on the left, click on "Software Update" in the "System" section.

Follow the instructions on that screen to install the update.
 
Axentra ServerApplianceOE™ System CD
Axentra no longer includes a System CD with our Servers. It is now possible to reinstall your server directly from a separate install partition on your Server's hard drive. For instructions to do so, please contact Axentra Technical Support.

If your software version is less than 2.3, you do not have this option. You can either update your software to version 2.4, use the System CD that came with your Server, or download the 2.4 ISO file and burn a System CD. This CD can be used to reinstall the Server software (erasing any data stored on it).

ISO File Download/Preparation Instructions:

  1. Select the ISO File in the download section below, and save the file to your client computer. Remember the location where you save it.
  2. Once the download has completed, you need to burn the ISO file to a CD. Most CD-writing software has the ability to use this ISO file as a CD image, which is what you want.
  3. This CD may be used to transform a PC into an "Install Server." This will enable you to install or upgrade your Axentra Server.
    Requirements: 1 PC with Pentium class processor, 32 MB RAM, CD-ROM drive; 1 monitor; 1 PS2 keyboard; 1 crossover cable (supplied). Follow these instructions for using the System CD:
    1. Connect the WAN port of your Axentra Server to your PC using a crossover cable (supplied with your Axentra Server).
    2. Insert this CD into the CD-ROM drive of your PC. Ensure that this PC is not connected to any other computer or network. Reboot your PC.
    3. Type the word server when prompted on your PC.
    4. Wait until the PC indicates it is ready as an "Install Server."
    5. Follow the instructions onscreen for reinstalling your Axentra Server.

Update File for the Axentra Server 2.4 update (174 MB)
ISO File for the Axentra Server 2.4 System CD (500 MB)
ISO File for the Netbox Soft 3.1 Installation CD (485 MB)

Enter your Serial Number:

Your serial number can be found below the bar code on the label on the bottom or right side of your Axentra Server. It consists of 16 letters, in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
